NORTHBROOK ADDITIONS The clients purchased this sprawling three-bedroom ranch in 2020 and quickly turned two of the bedrooms into their offices. But that left no place for their young adult children when they returned home. The husband wanted a larger, more efficient kitchen, being the avid cook that he is. He also wanted the rear entry out of his kitchen. We accomplished their goals with three separate additions. To the front we added his office and a laundry room. To the garage we added a proper rear entry and extra garage storage space. And to the back we added her office/sitting room and a breakfast room, thereby increasing the size of his kitchen. These additions then allowed the original en-suite bedrooms to become their childrens’ rooms.
