Marcia Pruchno Lawrence has spent her career in custom residential architecture.  She gained her expertise in fine home design and construction while an associate at Grunsfeld and Associates (1987-1997) and partner at Jaffe Pruchno Architects (1997-2002), and founded her own practice in 2002.

Marcia’s projects vary in scope from a complete home to custom cabinetry.  She works at all scales because her true passion is design, that is the art of interpreting a clients wants and needs into built form.  Marcia believes good design doesn’t happen by accident, and that its job is to elevate the business of everyday living.  It requires a thoughtful approach where she examines how clients live in their homes now and listens to how they want to in the future. Marcia believes design is a team effort, which includes engineers, contractors and most importantly the client, who should be intimately involved in and thoroughly enjoy the process of creating the space they will call home.

Marcia graduated with her Masters of Architecture from the University of Michigan.  She is licensed in Illinois and Michigan.
